G'day guys, As I live not too far from Lakeside and in the Pine Rivers Shire I received a council brochure in the Junk mail today that says QLD Raceway has won the tender to redevelop and manage Lakeside Raceway for the future!!!
Although the V8 supercars won't be able to race there I think its a great thing for the Historics and Club racers and hopefully will encourage the Council to keep it alive for the future after all it is Heritage Listed!!

have many fond memories around lakeside in the 80's in a torana and then a commodore .. will be great to have a drive around there again.
