i ordered the wheels today, gunmetal FR17's (17x7 & 17x8's)

they reckon about 3-4 weeks delivery. I cant wait :)

Saw you driving it this evening near the shops, (you know the ones, near the roundabout near the pub). Stunning looking bit of gear on the road, was just telling the cook about it as i downloaded this post, the plates stand out but would look better on my LJ though.

Do i correctly remember a past thread that indicated most Torana's are located in Vic?

Very nice, the stripes look a little too "blue" though. Where did he get the stencils for the stripes? My dad had one from almost new

Red, I am not sure about the blue, it definatley looks lighter than your pics. The stencils were measured off the car and made up on the computer as a sticker to use as a paint mask. I have a few lwft over G Pak stencils as well.

Do you know where your dad's car is now ? My car is a 11/75 model and was sold in Jan 76 from Pat Cullen Liverpool. It originally had HPM084 plates that were changed to the current plates for the girl that bought the car.

Dads car was sold in the early 80's and last time I saw it was early 90's in Orange, but I think it's long gone now.

just had a look at your pics on the G pak thread, the blue on my car looks like the blue on the 3 & 4th picture that you posted. Its probably just a trick of the light :)

cheers, mark :spoton:

the tyres are getting fitted right now, I am picking them up after work today.
I will put them on tonight, the only problem is it will sit like a 4WD until next week when I get the springs made.

Okay yeah that makes sense. May I ask what kind of price you're looking at paying for springs to suit your exact specifications?
