"its the perfect car to drive me around in and spill piss through at the nats "
Now I remember why I don't go to the Nats anymore.

Go the G-Pak, something different thats totally away from the SL/R theme and it actually looks smart.

Where abouts did you get the 245/40/17's, what brand and how much coin if you dont mind me asking?OMG that is so high
hahahahha
FWIW the rims & tyres are;
Gunmetal FR17 17x7 with 205/45 tyres
" " FR17 17x8 with 245/40 tyres
The rear tyres were hard to find in the size & profile that I wanted, but we got some.
Thanks for the comments,
Mark
As I currently run 255/40/17's on my Sunbird but would like to run 245's next time and its hard to find 245/40's there normally 245/45 which is taller then a 255/40, if I can get 245/40's it will lower my car a touch more again and give me a smidgen more tyre clearance.
Any reason you didnt go 17x9's instead of 8's?
Also keep an eye out on the speed rating of the front 205's, as they might just be ok for a 6cyl torana but if you put a V8 in this machine you may need to upgrade to a 215 as a minimum as most 205/17's are rated for 4cylinder cars, just something to be aware of champ.

The 245/40's are Nankang NS-2's and I beleive they are made for a BMW Z3 or Z4 the cost me $180 a pop. the tyre place look at me funny when i told them what i wanted, but the found them pretty easily. THe reason I went for the 8's on the back is that I thought 9" rims were a bit crazy for a 202.

the car is going to stay a 202, other than the wheels and suspension it i want to keep it original G-Pak specs.
