Well, was waiting for the computer to resize the pic to the right proportions and it never happened! Looks like someones washed the premier or statesman and it shrunk(not sure what it looks like now, perhaps a chevelle or even cortina).......and those bonnet ducts........look like Ford.
Doesnt look too bad from the rear, just a question to get every one going: is a huge drop tank necessary to get from A to B in a torry, is it a Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement?

Tough one DA.

I'm leaning towards necessary though. Factory fitted so can't be classified as RICE. Though for the sake of this thread let's not go there.

I like it. 400 chev + mini spool = I hope he has billet axles!

The Bonnet is a Ford...

The drop tank probably IS necessary with a 400ci Chev... With A and B being about 200k's away, hahaha.

Heath was referring to strait, something else entirely.

How the hell can you tell it has a custom Dash?

Apart from the side skirts, I reckon it looks sweet!

im not sure i like it all that much, maybe if they did it to a UC front end the lines may have matched up a bit better....

i reckon its a great looking car, something different, and it looks good.
very very boxy tho. drop tank is a neccessity, extra flavour, wanna get to A n B fast then you can cos you'll plenty o juice to squeeze.

personally i think drop tanks are sometimes neccessary especially when youve got a worked V8 that you are not running on pump fuel, enough said but i know driving around with a boot load of jerry cans is servelly over rated

gee the more you look at it the more you see little custom touches. Like the flares are moulded to the body, and i didnt even notice the sideskirts the first look. They dont look ever the top because they dont appear all that much lower than the original sills.

i would love to see this car at a car show now.

p.s i would have lost the taillight chrome surrounds tho. the car has had so much dont to it to make it visually appealling and personally those chrome surrounds are the ugliest things that can go around the taillights!

It's not my cup of tea!
Someone has spent a heap of time and $!
It looks better in purple than it ever did in red.
Bloody GS bonnets, what's next? 12 slotters? LOL

I appreciate the work and effort someone put into this car but it would look better in its original form. Never liked a ford bonnet on a holden but that's just my opinion.

allot of hard work, but doesnt do it for me. The front on it looks to squished and out of proportion.

I put it in the same basket as that yellow LJ with the flares etc.

Fantastic work, but not my cuppatea.

They can both work on my car anytime!!
(as long as they dont change anything when I'm not looking...)

I've seen those side skirts on Hyundai Excels.

Just on side skirts, I had VL Calais skirts on my first hatch many moons ago.
Went straight on and IMHO looked great - over than now...

:D Leakey

PS - RODOMO, I reckon that is something your lad could put on his UC beasty.
