At a mates place and he give me these toy gtr badges, i thought. Turn one over and see the part number. Would they be from a lj gtr steering wheel. They are 50mmx12mm

My LJ parts catalogue doesn't mention P/N 2820450, but it does mention P/N 2820451 which is described as "BUTTON & EMBLEM ASSY - GTR". It looks as though you have the little GTR badge. I don't thnk Rare Spares sell them separately so they may be worth something.

i bought a new one about 6months ago (fits in horn cap) can't remember what i payed for it but i don't think it was much

I've got some little GTR badges but they are of the lapel/hat badge type.

They are for the steering wheel as you thought - i think the rare spares one's are flat on the back (without the indent), it's been awhile since I've seen one.
