hi all
just saw an add in the paper about a torrie with a roll cage. dosent say if the cars rego'd or not.
But i sort of remember from somwhere that you needed an engineer's cert for a roll cage is this true?
its in a two door torrie so i suspect it would be difficult for rear passengers to get in out
cheers gump

Hey Torrietree, which paper? I don't think it needs to be engineered here in WA unless it is replacing some part of the factory chassis. Is it a full or half cage, or does it not say?

Typically, yes. Two at the A pillars, two around B pillars and 2 to either the rear wheel arches or rear floor pan.
Wouldn't stop rear seat access too much if it doesnt have the side intrusion bars, though.
