There will be a limit to entries. This is our first club event at the airport so I am going to keep it fairly small and easy to control. Once we have tested the water (tarmac) and all goes well I am going to expand on the event.
so far I have 11 expressions of interest, and i may cap it at 20 > 30.
Absolutely no entries on the day as i dont wanna b standing at the gate, i wanna be havin fun.
Entries will close off on the 22nd nov.
payment on the day, post entries to:

6 Walsh Ct,
Mt Barker, SA, 5251.
or phone 0410074415 for more details.

Events wise, We will do 'casual' 1/4 mile races, thats why i need 2 know engine size so I can have a couple of categorys competing. (6cyl's, 8cyls and stroked maybe). As for other events I havent progressed past the 1/4 mile comp as I haven't got enuf feedback as what else we could do. Bring a picnic tea tho, nowhere close for food or drinks.
you should be able to print from the flyer on this thread. right click 'save image as' put into your folders then print from there.

guaging the cost of these extras is toooooo hard for this event, so we will make do with stop watches, honest people and maybe a flag person.
Any ideas on making it run smoothly will help me heaps. I have been given tips on making wiring to run the length of the 1/4 and accross start and finish lines that will trigger a light on either side when start and finish lines are crossed. It will all come back to how well this event runs and keeping the additional costs to a minimum.

ta, that would b great. What does it measure?I can bring a G-tech meter, you'll just need to know how much you car weighs. They are supposed to be reasonably accurate.

easiest option is to go to a hardware/building supplies/sand and loam place where they have a weigh bridge, make sure u r still in drivers seat for better reading
suppose i'd better learn how 2 use these meters hey

I guess everyone should make sure their cigarette lighters in their cars are working for this event too, otherwise the G-tech meter won't be too accurate.

u can wear helmets if u feel the need, but as we r doin this as a casual day and it is entry at own risk it will be up to u to look after your own safety.
