my car is at the painters and has got bugger all paint on it so its a metal job i would like to put the blackouts/stripes back as close as possible one painted can anyone assist ? i am looking for pics of cars without the bolt ons /diagrams etc .Any help would greatly be appreciatted or direction i should take ..Holden On i ve gone through all the posts and cant find any topic on this /PLEASE HELP :spoton:

The main mistake people seem to make is blacking out the whole beaver panel on lc gtr's where as in the pics above you can see that the black only goes to the line above the bar.

Can anyone explain why some lc gtr's aren't blacked out on the rear panel above the bumper?

Was it because they were early '70 or did it depend on whether they came out of brisbane or adelaide?

The reason why they were not is because they were not. That is just the way they all were, Adelaide & Brisbane.

finer70 - just pulled out a pic of my brothers lc gtr which he bought new and yes it ISN'T black on the back.

thanks for bringing it to my attention, i would have painted lc gtr black on the back
