^ BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

Yeah Matty you'll just have to teach me how to use it properly and I'll go nuts. But I'm not gonna sit there all day obviously, so if a few people wanna take turns? (not that we necessarily have to have every run photographed)

Yeh i was there, towed Toranr Amore's hatch all the way there only for it to get scrutineerd then washed out and towed it all the way back home and not even 1 run.

Disapointing bigtime.

So... the plot does thicken! If it's rained out... Does anyone know a good pub where we can benchrace instead!!?!?

Ahhh... Bullshitting and Benchracing... Almost as fun as the real thing.. ( See the high-noon at heathcote thread as an example!)

:spoton:

Just as a side note.. There is supposed to be a test and tune on the day after our day SO if anyone can stay up there then there is the CHANCE of racing the sunday. However i wont be able to stay! I've gotto be home for work monday!

Cheers!

Dont fret just yet. The weather in melbourne can be very different to Heahtcote.
Besides the weather men can rarely predict tomorrows weather acurately never mind 7 days in advance lol.
I hope it is all sun and no rain but will be there either way.

I'm sure makka knows of a few pubs in the area where we can have a stopover if we get washed out.

You'll get yours ready that quick? Don't worry, I have a variety of spare engines in the garage with plenty more HP than you could ever hope to dream about.

i have a idea if we are bracket racing when you enter we should add $5 on top of entry so we have a prize money lets say if 30 cars thats $150 prize money $100 winner $50 runner up what do you guys think as i would say a extra $5 is ok and affordable

cheers caine

^ You wouldn't want Makka just spending it all on beer though... would you? :tease:

EDIT: No, actually, I take that back. I don't think you could even spend $100 on that amsterdam shit. If they weren't paying you to get the shit out of their bottlo...

I think even if Makka went to Holland, to the breweries, he'd walk in there with $100 and they'd all just laugh and give him the entire company for $50.

...too much money for Makka to be in control of.

I think we will just have to wait until closer to the weekend to start looking at the weather if we want an accurate forecast.

I also attended the ESC day this weekend.... we started racing at 11am... so for those of us that were there early, scrutineered, and ready to go, we got plenty of passes in before the rain came at approx 12:30. I did 4 passes.... could easily have done 10 if I had wanted. But unfortunately, for other people who were still rocking up, they missed out all-together.... big shame, but you can't control the weather.

Let's see how things are looking later this week.... I would hate to be rained out 2 weekends in a row! Getting too expensive on the fuel! But on that note - I filled my droptank (120litres), drove all the way from the eastern suburbs to Heathcote (just over 2hours driving), raced & ran my 11 in street trim, and then drove all the way home again without having to fill up. I reckon I still have about 20 litres in the tank, so I used 100 litres all up for the whole day. I know that's bad, but I don't think it's extremely bad for a car with a 3speed auto, 3200 stally and 3.7's. Still didn't beat my old P.B. though..... :(
