What a Wild Exaggeration Heath, for a 308 that overheated after a burnout...... stalling??? seizing???? huh??? It didn't stall and definately would not seize. It takes a lot more than that to hurt a 308.then everything fizzles out as we try to keep TORANR AMORE's LX from stalling, whilst flooding it with cool water with the intention of not letting it seize.
As for the the track and possible weather:
At Heathcote Raceway, they have what they call "the Jet", which they run up and down the track to prepare it. It runs at an extremely high temperature and they use it to dry up the track after there has been rain. They can only use it when the rain stops however and it takes them about 1/2 hour to fully prep the track this way. So even if there has been morning showers, it should be OK as long as it stops before racing begins.
I would worry less if the forecast on Friday says 'possible showers' than if it said 'rain all day'. If it says 'rain all day' in Bendigo, then I wouldn't bother going.
Cheers.
