As for the weather - I think we will definitely be copping some showers throughout the day, but as long as it stops from time to time, we will still get some racing in. So fingers crossed that's how it plays out. I've prepared my car during the week, and will be driving up regardless, just gotta get to the track and see what happens! I hope everyone else does the same. It's going to be a very expensive fortnight for me!! 4 runs last week before rained out.... and this weekend could be the same!

Very interesting, in the last couple of hours, it's now changed!!! (for the better)!
Sat Morning: Mostly sunny. Cool. No Rain (0%)
Sat Arvo: Mostly cloudy. Mild. No Rain (0%)
Sat Evening: A few showers (40% chance)
If that is a sign of the way the weather is heading, YEAAAHHARRRR let's go racin'!!!
It better not change back! I'll be hitting the road early, so won't be able to join the cruise - See you all at the track.

I got heaps of runs in (and more to make up for last weekend) with the car I only just finished preparing at 5:00 AM in the morning, working all night to prep it as I found out the night before I couldn't tow it.
So without sleep since Thursday night I did a best of 12.49 at 117mph in the MUSCLE with heaps of wheelspin off the line and very poor 60ft times. This car I had never raced before and barely driven but times got better with more practice. So this tells me it has potential of being a flat 12 of high 11sec car and definitely a high 11sec car with a tricked auto and high stall instead of the manual. So I'm fairly happy about that (GO the mighty 308!)
I was too focused on what I was doing to really notice how everyone else was going. It was a fairly fast paced day.
How did everyone else go? Times? Speeds? Personal Best Achievements?
It was good to see all the familiar faces although I was preoccupied, top day guys

Cheers,
Rick.
