Hopefully running the end of next week. Then I'll look at the calendar.
When is your next day out?

60 thou bored block i think.........
Sorry @milco@. I can't give out any technical info. There's too much at stake. Sheep stations etc. etc.
Good luck Mick!
You must have booked in early. That booked out within days of the entries being released.
I'd like to have a crack at that.......................one year.

Rodomo mate well done for getting your Commy sorted and on the track within such a tight budget. This topic has been like reading a book version of bush mechanics, filled with crafty mods and a good sense of humour to boot.
Full credit to you mate, all the best with shaving your lap times and chasing those gremlins : )

Has it been raced since then? Or was drag racing to tough on your little circuit car?

Here ya go Matty,

There has been no racing this year as we were saving for our holiday last May.
When are we going to see yours on a real race track with corners and stuff?
Or is 10 1/4 mile passes enough for 1 year? (2 1/2 miles all up)

Thanks mate! The whole trip has been fun. Building the car, the crap in this thread, even the gremlins as I enjoy the challenges.
But.......................we're getting near the pointy end, so the R&D has to be kept under wraps now

Mick, lets have a look at the maths?
Your engine, I'm not sure 308? but I'll give you the benifit of the doubt and say 253 or 4.2 litre or 4200cc
My engine is 3300cc, that is approximately a whopping 21% smaller than yours.
The day we met at Sandown:
Your lap time: 1min 32sec or 92seconds.
My lap time: 1min 40sec or 100seconds. That is only 9% difference?

But this is a fact.
Not just yet. There are Holden 6's running around Sandown doing 1:24's

Is that a Challenge?
I might take the Ute racing.... I should beat you with that quite easy! Even with my lack of cornering skills!

Like I said before, "the crap in this thread".
Well, I might go Go-Karting tomorrow, and practice my cornering skills! (Or i'll just try and get sideways out of EVERY corner! LOL)
