I've entered this for the Sunday only:
http://www.piarc.com.au/files/Nov%202010%20Sprint%20Regs.pdf
FAIL!
The car was ready to go, I had a trailer booked since Tuesday this week but couldn't pick it up till 10pm Sat as it was on another hire. Fair enough? I could still be in bed before midnight.I get down there at about 10.10pm to pick it up and was told I couldn't have it because the brakes don't work according to the previous hirer.
I checked myself and yes, the master cylinder is stuffed.
A bit pissed because they should have called me as soon as they knew.
So I went to the other 3 local servos that have trailers. 1 was on hire, the next don't do it anymore and the last had the trailer that I used to tow this from Mathoura when I first got it. This trailer tows like a pig, I couldn't go over 75kph last time I used it, and I can't get the tail gate on the Rangie down with it hooked on becuase of some useless frame they've welded on over the coupling.
I suppose I could have got up at half past a sparrows fart this morning and searched further afield for another trailer?
Too hard............There'll be other days with better weather.

The car could live on the back of it under a cover and I'd have my shed back.

I've considered that but room is an issue here. The truck could relace the Rangie. The Rangie might do 2000klms a year if it's lucky.

Late entry (mega bux) but I was a bit dissappointed about what happened last week with the trailer.

Rob and Mick, if you want a set of 16", 17" or 18" second hand alloys for your beast, let me know.
I'm wearing out tyres, not wheels.
Can you help there?
Are you working for Canterbury Rd?

First time at the track for me.
First flying lap was 2:16.5 but by the end of the day it was a 2:11.something. (Results pending)
This track is new to me that in comparison, it has high speed turns, whereas Sandown, Calder and Winton are slower.
I need bigger balls and find the limits.
I certainly learned a bit about set-up, e.g my car isn't set up for high speed turns.
A couple of pics of the Marks and a Max
Beaut day too!

Looks like you were keeping good company on the day - some flash cars there.
Next year we'll have to try to get there on the same day.

Also a Bolwell Nagari.................I looked under it and it looked like HQ+ Salisbury rear end and widened Torana front end to meet the rear track? Rack in front of "X" member, I'll have to google it.
I was watching it through a couple of stints and thought it sounded fast but I was quicker than it?

Canterbury Rd. Tyres?
Don't you dare swear at me!!!
I may be able to ask very nicely about a set of 245/40R18 Yoko A048's. Specifically, what tyres are you after?
Otherwise, I will happily help you wear out your tyres at your expense.

I'm pretty sure they were RH. I've gone 2 sizes richer but I think it's still a bit lean. If I remember I'll double check tomorrow.
Sorry for the late reply.
yeah no worries, i bought some RH needles and put them in and it was way too lean.
i have gone for RB needles and i still feel they are a too lean, because i can wind the jet all the way down and rev the car and i still only get the faintest puff of black smoke. but other than that it rev's up really nice.
i do have some a couple of set of Su needles ( sets of three) if your intrested in borrowing them so you can do some test's before you buy a set as i currently not using them.
i work in mitcham now so it's not to far from you....
just shoot us a PM if your interested....
