Hey aaron been slow progress mate been a bit slack lol but gearbox and engine have been rebuilt.....

 

Who blocked the top of the front guard body line flat should be shot.

The blue HZ, the front guards, above the wheel arch, the body lines are totally blocked out.

small update the TORANA badge is on lol.....

oh yeh! for the torana badge

but the more important

5ltr badge is the one!!!!!!!!!

daryl it looks a millionbucks allready

first hatch i drove way back when was a

white 

man 5ltr hatch from trayning in w.a 

the price was reasonable at under 7 k

but as it was the first i drove i considered looking at more 

people no longer have that choice!!!!!

alas i somehow ended up with mine

i was somewhat reluctant to even ring the guy selling but 

thanks to a pain in ass sister that everyone has! lol!

i got there in the end my very own 5 ltr hatch

still want one without factory fitted flares though!!!!

Thanks mate appreciate it I can't wait to put the stripes on though lol now the motor and box are built I will paint them then it's time to take the front end out and rebuild and paint that....

well its been a while since i worked on the SS but what else would i be doing in 40 plus degree heat painting the floor and putting the dynamat in :buttrock:

U dont need the dynamatt today.. just go out side and scrap some melted tar off the roads.. "F"ing hot here.... Stay cool guys.. its pretty bad and getting worse.

You forgot we got the front spoiler whilst at Toranafest Dad 😜- getting excited to start seeing the end progress with the pieces to finish it off Yeehaaaa

hey mate cheers how are ya i picked up the front spoiler at toranafest from mick mccardle then about 3 weeks after we got back from toranafest rares called to say they have them in stock now lol....

hey craig how are ya mate here is the link to the tufflift site for the hoists they are great value for money $2650 they meet all australian standards workcover ect ect all my mates have them now and they all say they are awesome no problems at all.....

A guy up this way has a new one the same,and is moving to Melbourne soon,he has not erected it yet,said he was going to sell it,so i probably will buy his if the price is right, if not i,ll get one with warranty.

had a bit of a play around today with the new front spoiler and i must say im very very impressed with the way it fits... im also the proud new owner of these personalised number plates given to me by my mate who sold his ss recently....

It's great the spoiler fits and the plates are sweet!

Are those 1 piece things smaller than the 2 piece ones? Looks like it doesn't hang down as far?
