Put the stripe's on they look sweet & without it just looks like another white hatch.

Sanded both bumpers back etch primed few small repairs then paint them along with the front spoiler...

decided to put rear bar on getting new rubber strips so just sat old one on to see how it looks....

haha yeah mate it looks a little high hey 2 inches lower on rear should fix that not sure on front until motor is in but im guessing the same...... yep stripes will be very soon im hoping have had them for a while just need to put them on...

Just read all 15 pages, love when i find build threads i haven't seen with plenty of pages to view, it is good to see another good old shed build, having a go and do it yourself at home with your mates, very satisfying and it turning out better than getting workshops to do it.

Just read all 15 pages, love when i find build threads i haven't seen with plenty of pages to view, it is good to see another good old shed build, having a go and do it yourself at home with your mates, very satisfying and it turning out better than getting workshops to do it.  

 


cheers mate thanks yes i have a go at most things as this is a budget build so had no choice really lol and as you said with some help from mates they have been great.... im really looking forward to finishing and cruising it as is my very patient son lol.....

Rear bumper looks nice on there mate.

The pics don't do it justice as it looks better in the flesh!

How many spiders did you have to flush out of that front bar? lol

yeah mate your spot on it will set it off nicely im diong the front end at the moment im using a complete uc front end including uc steering rack should ride nice...

i blasted the front end etch primed undercoated it then hit it with gmh black come up a treat also painted the rear number plate holder...

Did you paint the k member, control arms & spindles in a POR 15 or KBS chip resistant paint or 2pac ? I'm sure u will replace all the rubbers & bushes on the k member rebuild - I've heard good things on the Kingswood Country Spares kit...who you using D

hey mate all i did to the front end was sandblast metal treat then etch prime undercoat and gmh black it...i got moog ball joints mackay bushes all new bolts and nuts my mate is a steering specialist so he did the rack for me just have to order the springs shocks n discs....

new ball joints bushes bump stops in ect ect now for the old front end to come out....
