gmhgtr,I blew it of at the traffic lights,i didnt know it was a unmarked police car,he pulled me over,gave me a mouth full and he let me go,was very lucky to drive away,cheers.

Apparently this is an ex cop car.
Still has light mounts, fin mounts, radio holes etc. Mods to fuel tank too.

gmhgtr,was very lucky to drive away from the scene,these days they take youre car of you,That xc police car,5.8 badges on the guards,12 slotters fitted,pretty standard,flashing blue light on the dash,cheers.

I had a brown - yes brown - mk1 cooper S which had 2 small screws about 1 inch apart on the left hand side of the dash. I always suspected it was an ex cop car. I bought it off an old guy who said he bought it at an auction when it was about 2 years old....
It was such a nice car , but a horrible colour...

Harry Firth did two LJ GTR's for the Sutherland Police Station in Sydney NSW, Harry had them souped up and Competition Suspension in these two LJ GTR's

Bulahdelah Highway Patrol - Mid North Coast of NSW
This photo was taken on the day it was due to be returned to Sydney after racking up 40,000km (Not miles) running up and down the Pacific Highway. It was always kept immaculate and only ever driven by one officer.
