Old Clarion radio

When i purchased my GTR many years ago it had a Clarion radio in it which i still have ,i know its not original for LCGTRs but it seems unusual ,it has the two large knobs either side one is the station finder,you push it in and it finds a station for you ,the button spins around back and forth untill it locks one in .It can be done manualy as well .Its quite funny seeing the button turning around and the station indicator sliding up and back searching for a station and know one touching it.Has anyone heard of one of these before?

Yes my Parents had 1 in a ZD Fairlane in the early 70`s that sounds exactly the same,hours of fun pushing the button and watching it go by it`s self
