boomfunk is the resident interior guru, go with his verdict...

I just thought that they would be different because of different pillar positions...

they are the same, my pattern came out of a 4 door and like i said have sold many including one's for concourse cars.. where i would have been shot if its wasnt right..

if they make it correctly then it will fit, regardless of weather its for 2 or 4 door

from what i can tell from the others selling them on ebay its a copy material of the rough sandpaper type..Not terribly close but the price is better than you pay anywhere.

we do sell the roebuck ones and i dont think or seen anyone on ebay sell the roebuck ones, BUT our roebuck is nylex, there is copy's of alot of the materials, side by side with the real stuff and you can tell the diff.

But like i said cant complain for the money ..

i have to go see someone who has heaps of lc's... :D to get a pattern, gtr and sl? is different in the seat skins.

At this stage right now we cant do them unless some donates, lends or we find some covers that we can use as patterns.

The toowoomba swaps on soo, next month i think so if i find any there i'll grab them.

We are still on holidays ATM... :D

price cant really say until i have a good look, also depends on material, the roebuck nylex isnt real cheap either

boomfunk, do you need to unpick or dismantle the seat trims for a pattern?
I have set made up 25 yrs ago and not fitted if you only need measurements.
also where can I buy Roebuck vynal, in sandalwood? need to do some repairs.
have black for XU1, bought 10 metres when I got my front seats covers.
I will want couple of roof linings later

i generally like to unpick but it depends on what your doing if its standard design or not...

i will find some covers somewhere, just takes bit of time.

Have you tried Daleys, or U.D.A for the sandalwood vinyl, i have seen it around, but never really payed alot of attention to it as generally everybody wants black

I may be wrong,
But aren't the headlinings on GTRs and XU1s made from a
ribbed vynil and not roebuck pattern?
Other coupes are roebuck.
John.

is there somewhere I can buy roebuck vinyl by the meter? As close as possible to the original. Also I may need a new headlining too. Colour is no concern, ighter the better, I will be repainting it to sandalwood anyway.

Hi

As I understand, the correct LJ black headlining for the GTR/XU1 is the close-ribbed type. Eastern Auto Uphostery in Bayswater Vic manufacture this particular headlining but don't/won't onsell the material (he is the only source). My LJ XU-1 headlining cost $220.

the roebuck we do sell, the nylex one the real one,its $21 a meter, black.

There are other people that have the close-ribbed type but i cant say who, i dont want to get into a debate about who has what, other people get their own vinyls made, eastern isnt the only one that does it, but they like to hang onto them tight or be arsy about selling them.

Just like the golfball vinyl, i can get it but i dont like the seller so i dont buy it...that simple, maybe in 30 years when there bugger all market left they may say ...hey wanna buy it now
:D
