this guy http://cgi.ebay.com....1QQcmdZViewItem might sell you the flairs minus the front spoiler which is about the only difference.

^ Agree with the above, esp on a UC but each to their own, go flares if you want em. But I'd be sticking with those lovely wheels (the flares would require different wheels) and dumping it on its guts with a tidy up of the body and a respray.

What's in it? What do you wanna do with it? Looks good anyway mate

sweet another UC!!.
Agreed, you'd really need to get the paint and stance right if your gona
put flares on. N yea you'll need some wider tyres to fill out the guards
will flares on them.

Rob, why do you have to live in Melbourne?
Sydney is really nice too mate.... I would pay $60/hr
to get you up here!! LOL

----------

Nice car matey. FastEH' has a flared UC I think, amongst many other projects.
I think there was a UC front spoiler floating around the Wooloongong area
that someone might recall? Worth PM'ing him.

I feel like I've stolen the thread big time. Anyway the flared UCs really don't do it for me. Whatever floats your boat.

Hey man thanks for you offer, what type of flairs are they? And do you have a picture of them so I can see what kind of work they need?

To everyone else, my plans at the moment is to make the torana immaculate, look and sound cool, because im only 16 know and I dont have my liscence I wont be allowed to legaly drive anything with more power to weight ratio on queensland roads, so there won't be a ny point of slapping a chev or a 308 or something in. In the long term though, who knows.

Thanks but most of it is just surface rust and I live in Dalby Queensland. I plan to get my dad to help get the rust off. Plus I am on apprentice (first year) wages and cannot afford to get anything done for 50 an hour lol.

hey mate. I'm also 16 and just bought A UC with a 202 same colour as yours. its lowered with mags etc. 1000 watt amp and twin subs go in tomorrow. I was thinking about flairs also but from Heath's pics I'd say it looks shit unless you have the front air dam. then it looks awsome. 3 months till i get my P's how long for you?

Personally I reckon that the flairs look pretty nice on the UC's, so long as they're not overdone. If they were a bit more subtle, say moulded into the bodywork rather than bolted on, I think they'd look "ab-soh-lute-lee mor-velous!" as Tony Greig would say.
So, go with what you reckon looks good dude. It's your car and your money.

Cheers,
John
