Personally I reckon that the flairs look pretty nice on the UC's, so long as they're not overdone. If they were a bit more subtle, say moulded into the bodywork rather than bolted on, I think they'd look "ab-soh-lute-lee mor-velous!" as Tony Greig would say.
So, go with what you reckon looks good dude. It's your car and your money.

I agree, if they are moulded in to look like part of the original lines, I reckon they'd look great. But just having them as bolt ons kind of clashes with the smooth shape IMO.
