The annual Vintage & Classic Day in Mc laren Vale is only in its second year and already has no less than 22 car clubs signed up for the event.One club alone has more than 800 members and has made the day their official registration day and are predicting 400+ cars!!!!! Some other clubs are making it their monthly run. All entrants will envade Mclarens on the Lake untill 11:30 am and then proceed in convoy down the main st (which will be closed to traffic) then head of to their designated winery. Cars will then be on show till around 3:30 pm. Vehicles are restricted to veteran, vintage, classic, hot rod and street machine originally built prior to 1978. Will be a good day to get the cars out for a nice country drive and check out hundreds of cars and some great wine. To be held on the 29th April 2007. Further info 0415820719 .

yep, HTC will be there. Entries will be out soon to members.

I brought this show up at the meeting again, and I am wondering if 2 show and shines in one month is too much.

If there is interest in a club display then we will go ahead with it. If not then I will add it to next years calendar.

Wayne Q has expressed interest. I am unable to commit to any shows at the moment untill I find out which job I am changing to.

Pls let me know ASAP.

Would bring the LH, but with a rusty hole in one of the doors and damage from a rear spoiler removal, I don't think it would go too well

I am hoping to take my oldest boy for a drive in the LH to come and take a look though. :spoton:

has anyone sent their entries in yet. I will phone the event organizers once I know a few entries r in and find out which winery we have been allocated, which will make it easier for people to catch up with us.

So is APL goin on his own to this event ? ?

Please let me know ASAP if there is any other interest in putting your Torrie in the HTC club display.

If there isnt then at least this will give us a chance to put APL in with another group, maybe smasa if they have entered.
