well whilst in a massive brainstorming session with my step dad, we were discussing nitrous oxide and having a play around with it. now we were looking at that spare 202 in the corner, and the magazine article on NOS, and did some looking around, but couldnt find anyone who made kits to fit tripple carbies, now we were thinking of buying a kit and 2 extra spacer plates and modifying/making new plates to fit the tripples, is this possible? and would it work?

DA what the hell are you on about???

Thanks guys i will do a bit of research and see what i find. Although illegal, im not alloweed to drive a supercharged car till im off my Ps (20yrs old) so this is to be my alternative for now, i am already ordering a slimline nos bottle, and all lines will be as inconspicuous as possible, so i can convince mr plod it just extra fuel lines.....

3 carbies are triples, Not tripples.
I think that's what he's getting at.

bloody hell that would be some fun. did you use the set up before you sold it? what sort of pistons where you using? would my acl race series jobies and the star fires stand up to it? i guess youd just run it extremely rich?!

nah i never got the chance to use it, only had 90% of the kit. engine had acl flat top pistons and blue rods, which wouldve been fine. 100hp shot over the 3 ports wouldnt have hurt it!

i guess ill go for a lighter tune and then crank in the 100 horseies and see how it goes. makes it look really busy with a 12 port head.
how much nitrous are you pumping into that thing jap xu1? forged pistons?

its my brothers car
we made 300hp no gas and hit 100 gas and popped a headgasket shortly after making 400hp.

no kidding the 100hp gas jets gave it exactly 100hp.

new engine on the way with orings

thats a serious 202. so the old 100 shot killed it? or you just need some more clamping force on the head and a stronger gasket?

i would be vrey happy with 400 ponies out of a 202., i know mine wont pull that. just a question, is it possible to alter a base nos kit to say only 50-75hp. i have a strong 202 but juust want to give it a kick in the guts without killing it.
