yea will have to get a vid....

its got a single 2 1/2" pipe and it doesnt sound good at all lol going to get a twin 2 1/2" system soon enough :spoton: they sound hot with a 383 (heard sarshas for 2minits)

primed the oil pump today, motor is about 90% built  . gets oil presure this time :D getting 20psi with my hands, going to make a drill priming tool tomorow

decided i dont need to weld the pick up, as its a really tight fit. probly for the best, my welding skills are quite sad, its a stick welder.

ill get some snaps of it going back in tomorow :D

The engine was born again today :D

running 80psi of oil pressure too :spoton: and 50psi on idle.

i think getting the chance to rebuild the chev again was really good, lots of love and pefection went into the motor :spoton:

took it for a few drives today to run in the motor, lots and lots of muscle... scary stuff.

cheers,

as soon as i poke the accelerator a tiny bit at any speed, its revs as fast as a 4cy jap car and the car drifts all over the road. gotta take it easy for the next few thousand though.

You should be able to go wider than that... or is the offset for the wheels inappropriate?

the offset is a bit out there...

my front 205 tyres just protrude the guards lol

I think mine are on the verge of doing that, but I run a different offset/width on the rear so it isn't as much of an issue. You should still be able to get away with 225s though I reckon... how low is it with the Chev? :P

I've had 245's under my rear guards nath, you should have no probs with 225's at all!! Getting 265's for the brown UC in the next week!! Rolling the lips of the guards!

Got a vid of the 383 yet?? I wont have mine done for a few months yet! Upgrading fuel lines, brakes, chassis kit and spending some more cash on it to get a set of 2" Primaries from Difilippo!

yea. ill see if 225's will fit, the wider the better :spoton:
265s under uc guards would be a mission without flares lol
sounds like ur going all out kieth! will be a screamer when all the work is done :P

ill get a vid of my car once i get twin exhuast, so it sounds like a v8 haha!

Your car seems to be sitting a lot higher than it did since you first painted it etc. Have you changed the springs?

You changed them in the rear just coz you stuck the Chev into it? I thought it wouldn't have affected the stance of the back.

i don't know about you, but i think cars that sit like a boat look gay :P

i wouldn't run super low in the back and low in the front... not a cool combo. i like it nice and even, thus why i changed all the springs.

Heath, I got over the stockies... They look gay, and it is ONLY a UC right!! I have the 14 by 8" dragways from my LX doing nothing but supporting my blue UC at the moment, i'll put the stockies on it for the time being and throw some new fat rubber on the brown one! Make it look half as tough as it is quick!

I agree with nathan on this one heath, lower at the back than the front is just pure homo. If you own a torrie, its gotta sit low at the front and nice at the back!

The above pic looks hot too! That is exactly how you need a car to sit...

Your exhaust looks great nath, i bet it sounds mad too! I'm so damn jealous right now!
