I think next time i would like to make a BBQ lunch for all at Mt Kira, give the kids some fun too and then head back the same way to the Cricketers Arms.
My boy loves Keith's Torry and Tiny's Monaro, if its not a stretch maybe we could organize a ride next time.
All in all such a good day that can only get better with each new run. :spoton:

Hey Guys,

Awesome fun, even though I was in a foreign car. I actually got something out of the run.... INSPIRATION. Finally got up off my lazy ass and took the V8 into the engine builder today to get it cleaned up along with all the other components and getting a 10thou overbore. Hope to have it bck late this week then I can start putting it together. I probably didn't introduce myself to many people.. Kinda shy :huh:

But good to see Rob and Josh again... And meet Keith and the Ford driver

Was a beautiful car too mate. I like how we can have a "Torana" cruise but welcome others, Falcon's, Monaro's etc. A pity I didn't follow on for the evening activities.. Would have been nice to see and meet the others I didn't meet before and that came later on.. Oh yeah, And the Torrie with the Vortech blower I heard about as you were driving away, very upset I missed out on a sticky beak!! Anyway, I have some piccies for you, ENJOY!!

The Pulsar is only a Daily driver/workhorse. Beleive it or not, I actually fitted a V8 engine block, Heads, and all the outside componts of a Toyota Alloy V8 into the back of it and took them to builder.. I was amazed it all fit..

What I am building bay take a while, but will have a great end result.

LJ + Alloy V8 (weighs Less than 202) + GT40R Turbo @ 25-30psi = OMFG 700rwhp and up..

Can't wait... Chassis twisting fun.. LOL.

And, whats this with a "Monaro" blowing smoke??

Rob have a hiccup after we left?

Hey ToranaJudd I saw your black Pulsar drive past at Bunnings, but I didn't see you for the rest of the cruise. Good pics by the way, I didn't even see you taking them, talk about covert operations

. No need to be shy everyone seemed very approachable and ready for a chat.

That LJ you are building sounds more like a missile than a car. I also don't mind a little forced induction to help things along :spoton:

. Wouldn't mind hearing more about your LJ on the next cruise.

THe trans dumped a bit of fluid out when i was "in a hurry" to go get simmo from the train station! Looked as bad as josh's car LOL! Was good to catch up again mate, Glad you got inspired to do the torry again too! Too long coming mate

Pete: I hope that you and Roy enjoyed the day mate, was UNREAL to see his monster out there, and hopefully next time with less headaches! I'd love to catch up with you blokes again some time to check out the munro more, and see your monster! How far off is it??

Was a top day.. Defintiely need to do it again!

Mate... I dont have time to scratch myself at the moment....

Day work, Night work, Weddings, Drag day in Melb, Easter... Getting sorted go go overseas... Mate! I havent got a DAY free let alone a weekend till after we get back!
