YAY! had to be the first one to post anything post-cruise. lol. Nice day for a drive sun was out (as were all the cyclists along the pacific highway... can anyone say deathwish???....) :tease: After my own incident filled morning, ended up just making it to maccas at bout half past 10 (10 minutes after they were meant to leave) then after we finally started the convoy moving, and staright into the servo for a fill up, Jo's pink beastie carked it and wouldnt start, after a load of fiddling round and pushing it back and forwards we got it clutch started and away we went again. Im glad that Keith knew where he was going cus i had no Forkin idea!! i sat fair up Joannes ass the whole way and she was pretty close up Keiths. Had a nice little drive round the windy roads of the old pacific highway, many encounters with puch bikes, and even more with motorbike riders. Terrigal was absolutely packed when we roled in so it was pot luck as to parking spots, keith, Joanne and (i feel so bad that i cant remember his name) FastEH, scooped up some parks in the main street nose to tail, while the rest of us had to park seperately. In the end my hunger pains overpowered me and i had to run home for lunch(not working for 3 weeks has left me poor.... putting ptrol in the torry has made me broke), it also meant i could be the first to post up anything on her!! HAHA.
Nice to meet some of the people that you talk to over the net and look forward to doing it again sometime, maybe with a barbie or sumthin to finish.

Gday Everyone.

The Weather turned good for us and the cruise went ahead. We left Maccas at 10:30 as planned with 6 Cars Turning up including myself. Stopped at the Caltex just up the road for afew people to refuel and we stayed stopped there for around 30 - 40 minutes coz Joannes car would not turn over due to the solenoid on the starter motor. Eventually with a push start and a apologetic ( Spelling? ) Joanne who wanted us to leave her there and continue on without her...we were on our way again. The Old Pacific Highway probably was'nt the best choice of road to take due to the 60kph speed limit although when your trying to take pictures at the same time it makes for some interesting multi tasking.

So we continued along the Old Pacific Highway then along Woy Woy Road and Brisbane Water drive for the drive through Gosford to Terrigal. We parked up at Terrigal had a chat for around an hour took a group photo and everyone headed there seperate ways... Joanne with the Push start :tease: All in all it was a good cruise with good weather in even better cars! Thankyou to all who came! FastEHHolden and his little girl, Keith1962 , Joanne , OrangeLJ and Girlfriend , LOWS2 and Mates. This Forum should be glad to have people like you! :spoton:

Cheers

You beat me....I was having net trouble..but here is my spin anyway

Well the cruise has been run and won..It got off to a false start with a bit of battery/starter motor/alternator trouble but we got going soon enough. We headed thru Hornsby and regrouped at Mt Ku-ring-gai for the trip done the Pacific Hwy...the trip was pretty uneventful, we had the level heads at the front and that kept the hoons (well me) in check.

After navigating the Pacific Hwy and not running over wayward cyclists, and not knocking heads with Evil Kinevil we got to the Woy Woy turn off where I pulled a brilliant ovetaking move to get past about 50 cars....but then I had to wait for the people that knew where they were going.

We regrouped again and moved down thru Woy Woy, to west Gosford before more trouble beset us in Erina but a quick battery swap and we were away. 5 mins later we were lapping Terrigal looking for a spot to park...no luck so we continued lapping and evcentually all got parking spots.

We all got thumbs up and attracted a fair bit of attention..even though some people got more than others????

I had a good time..nice to meet people with similar interests...weird that I was in the "older" crowd but it was fun.

Sounds like Tiny had a fun day..... was it a bit breezy hanging off the 20th floor of a building in sydney?? Yeh i discovered the fun of holding onto a large heavy digital camera, whilst driving, whilst changing gears goin round corners and avoiding guys on pushbikes, good fun, but in the end my GF got too worried and took over. (she took the blurry ones lol) Definitely should do it again in the near future, maybe finishing at the entrance or shelly beach, somewhere less crowded then terrigal. lol.
CHEERS Chris

P.s. Josh, you can have a perv anytime you want mate, i live at bateau bay and get out most friday satdy nites and sundays for a bit of drivin. :spoton:

Yeah top day guys loved the drive as did my passengers, my first on the pacific hwy and a top run i must say. As we all said on the day its not a cruise without a bit of drama but all good in the end. A big thanks to TUFF for organising well done  . Good to put some faces to names.
Next time more numbers would make it even better and maybe somewhere less crowded to park :D .

Cheers,
Mick
