Definitely worth considering I reckon! What does everyone else think?
I would be up for either option....

1/. SECURE PARKING, not that keen to park and leave car in a car park where can't keep an eye on it.
2/. What time historics start & finish (long day??)
3/. Chances of us getting hassled by YOU KNOW WHO in regard to roadworthyness, i've seen events like this targeted by them in the past, don't know if it's still the case!
don't get me wrong it's not a bad idea but like i said it does raise a few issues!!!!
Interested to know what others think???

Exactly what my post was meant to mean. You could park somewhere near the back straight and display the cars, I'll be there with the BCOAA,& my Brocky. What about a cruise to Phillip Island for the historics ? If you havent been to this event, you dont know what your missing. I know its a long cruise but it is a fantastic destination. We could meet at Cranbourne Bunnings carpark for the 50 min cruise. BBQ lunch at the races, imagine walking the pits and chatting with all the Torry racers, and there is plenty of them, from the XU1s ,L34s and A9Xs,they would have the biggest cheer squad going, seriously consider this proposal peoples, this is the ultimate muscle car race meet. I have to go or I couldnt forgive myself, if some cant make the cruise early we could meet up at the meeting, have a think about it, it would in my opinion be the ultimate Torana Big Day Out !!!
I'll be down there Saturday as I have accomodation, but the BCOAA are cruising down there Sunday morning with meeting points, just imagine Torries and Brocky's cruising down there, what a site!

What a site indeed!

Phillip Island Thread
I'm convinced... I reckon we should give this some serious thought!
It'd definately be a worthwhile cruise!
Any more takers?

THE HISTORICS ARE F*CKIN AWESOME... You must see it, and I have been hanging to go back, some of the owners are really nice, one dude even spent a hour or 2 talking to me about his A9X and was awesome about it.
It's a must! I'll be going down in a VE SV6 most likely with dad.

Wait till the traffic thins then hit the road!
I like the idea of Sunday, if the traffic's the only downside....
