I like the idea of the car on the front. Maybe have an LC/J one and an LH/X one?

looks great. I reckon Tim has a point though, the HB/LC/TA/LJ folks may not want LH/LX/UC shirts. and vice versa.

Perhaps a few shots of what they would look like with a few different models on them would be good and then a poll to get an idea on what people want.

Screen printed. Benefit - cheaper and easier to have more variety/models.
Embroidered. Benefit - looks great.
Model specific screen printed.
etc.

Id rather pay a bit more and get a quality shirt
Maybe put a LJ LX 2 Doors on the Front and a UC LH Four door on the back?

As we've been discussing... You guys design it.. we'll run with it!

There are no Series 1 shirts left at all, (Harry Firth got the last one!)

I'm too busy right now to organise another run, but happy to look at it in the new year.

Cheers!

THe more shirts.. the more headache!

3 styles x 5 sizes = headaches!

Seriously with the choices last time of:
Cotton, Polly Cotton, Cool Dry and the various sizes it took simmo and i 2 full days to package all the shirts to send out.

Again, i dont mind doing the work, i just dont get alot of time free from work anymore and when i do i want to relax a bit!!

Anyway.. We definitely want to keep it simple, so maybe 2 designs, and the sizes and maybe a hat.... that's about IT!

Cheers

I would definately say that two designs is the limit. And I personally wouldn't like them with more than one car on each. I would be willing to purchase one like that 3/4 view design you did Matty, provided that it was a quality print. And a T-shirt not a ladie's tank :P

I like that simple layout. If you were to make an LC/LJ one and an LH/LX/UC one, I would consider just refining the above example for proper Toranas, and then for the baby Torana - sticking the forum symbol on the other side and having a kind of opposite 3/4 view photo of an LC/LJ, and possibly swapping the black for white if people wanted both black shirts and white shirts.

Black shirts can be worked in
White shirts are good on hot days

I would probably buy one of each if there was an option.

personally I have no problem with the first type we got and would gladly buy another 2.... It would make it a lot easier going down the same road again too I imagine

I've never been one for pictures on T shirts and liked the "logo" theme of the original shirt.

I would like to see like a "tour date" type of thing on the back of it e.g:

HB 67-69 Inc. Brabham

LC 69-72 Inc. XU-1 (XU-1 3rd outright Bathurst 1970)

LJ 72-74 Inc. XU-1 (XU-1 1st outright Bathurst 1972)
(XU-1 2nd & 3rd outright Bathurst 1973)

TA 74-75

LH 74-76 Inc. SL/R 5000 L34 (SL/R 5000 2nd & 3rd outright Bathurst 1974)
(SL/R 5000 1st, 2nd & 3rd outright Bathurst 1975)
(SL/R 5000 1st, 2nd & 3rd outright Bathurst 1976)

LX 76-78 Inc. A9X (A9X 3rd outright Bathurst 1977)
(A9X 1st & 2nd outright Bathurst 1978)
(A9X 1st - 8th outright Bathurst 1979*)
*P.Brock 1st outright by 6 laps, 1979

UC 78-80 Inc Sunbird SL/E

I have included the HB brabham as a tribute and UC Sunbird SL/E as I believe that was the only SL/E available in the Torana range?

Bugger! I typed this so all the brackets lined up! :furious: Not the way it presents.

And at the end of the day even though sooner would be good we must understand that everything done is done in peoples own time, so later will be fine in my opinion.
