Grey seems a good compromise for the main colour and most other colours will go with that.

Just my 2 bobs worth, oooops , I meant 20 cents worth.

Regards ...................... Barry

& maybe a photo like this on the back :tease:

ALX76 - we chose to ignore that comment, but dirty minds is dirty minds........

All,
remember that the main focus initially is cost.
A black/white/possibly grey shirt is probably the cheapest base to start with.
As for SMP - real men drive torana's and only real men can wear pink..........couldn't you take the flack, even if t told everyone you were a member of the best car forum in the world?? And other members could spot each other from across the paddock!!

There is some useful feedback coming in, and hopefully you'll be happy with the decision that is made.
The forum is here for you, and we don't want to advertise the forum with crap shirts now do we??

Grant..

I'd like to refer you to our mate Corey -

I see a pink shirt there, are you calling him a real man?

Pink is fine in moderation, but I don't think that bright pink forum shirts are the best option :D Green is nice!

Is it that big of a cost to offer 2 or 3 colours of shirt? ie. black white AND grey, or black and white.

It may just be me, but I would not want to buy a white one. But would 100% buy a black one.

I'll have a play wit a design or two tonight, i like the idea of using the "rustic look" style on a faded style type of shirt... I'll try and find samples of the shirts i mean... I'd love the shirts to look like they came from the 70's and have been at the bottom of our draws for 30 years!

IMO the new logo is good but if ur going to stick something on the windscreen then the old sticker may be a better option.

Glad someone got it.

Just trying some more stuff... got to think of a tag line...

Thinking something like...

"GMH Torana - King of the Mountain"

"Torana 1968-1979"

Making Aussies happy since 1968 (Whatever year it was)

Dominating the racetracks for over 30 years

Anyone else got something? I want to put it under the logo on the chest as a tagline. I am going for a casual T-shirt that stands out, but can still be worn down to the shops!

I want to see these shirts worn around with pride like we are in an elite group! LOL.. I will try the some other colours too...

ideas people!?

nah, definitely T shirts.

Don't know about the tagline Matt... I reckon that the 'less is more' principle comes into play here.

Yeah, you know how like surf brands just have "established since 1969"

I would like something like that. Just to ad a bit more to the shirt...

Polo shirts are ok, but im thinking for a cheap different option! We can do lots of things!

I personally don't like the 'SL/R SS GTR XU-1' bit...

Terry, why is the new logo no good for a sticker?

Not bad Josh. How about we don't use Comic Sans MS though :) That font makes baby Jesus cry.

I think the SL/R SS etc bit is too elitist though... If people see that, coupled with the XU-1 and L34 on the back, they might think that we're dedicated to the so called desirable models...

I'll buy a couple of these shirts whatever they end up looking like,
My 2 bobs worth is that I like the last shirt, it was subtle enough for me to wear to work, but if you decide on a more 'in yer face' design, I'll buy them anyway.

Just hurry up and decide before summer gets here.

We did polo shirts last time.

I recon T shirts along the lines of what MRLXSS is thinking would be the go this time around.
