Just got myself a pair of hq dba undrilled sloted disc (dba 014usr & l) for my lj
Now iv taken the disc to get them drilled to lj patten and hes asked me to give him the hub size why is that????

The hub is the part of the disc the centre of the rim is supposed to locate on. The hub diameter of an HQ is 71.5 MM. The Torana is smaller. Don't know the exact measurement off the top of my head.

They will be. They need to be machined down so the Torana rims will fit.

I have an LH hub and a set of vernier calipers. I can mearsure that later. Should be the same, but it may not be.

Can't you just take your wheel to the machinist so he can measure the centre board of your wheel ?

Not all alloy wheels have the centre bore machined to the exact hub size. So if the centre bore of these rims have a measurement larger than what the LJ hub is, then other rims he may use in the future may not fit.
