I was meant to post these pics but my camera packed it in.
I made this tools about 25yrs ago when i was an apprentice.
The main part was machined up out of 350 grade steel, not sure what steel specs that equates to now.
The rest is just scap mild steel i had in the work shop with a weight on the end.
It's seen alot of door pins and i've never had one i couldn't remove.

kev used that tool to remove the pins from
my 2 door..it took him just under 5 minutes
to remove all 4 pins!!!!including passenger
door that had never been removed......

I'm guessing by the looks of the pics it is pretty much a long slide hammer with a adaptor made to slide over pin.
