does anyone know if such a tyre size exists, i rang a handful of tyre shops and they cant get any they reckon.
has anyone ever had a tyre that is 225/235 in a profile lower than 60, cos thats the only one the tyre shops say they can find.
If you have can you put the brands up here and where u got them from so i can grab some!!!
thanks heaps

225/50/15 come in heaps of brands. Yokohama is one of the more expensive. I bought some better priced ones i would have to look to see what i bought. I dont have the car here today.

thanks for the info guys, i the phoned the tyre places and they reckoned a 60 series with a 225 could be a scrubbing affair.
But if they come in like 50 series like vista said i cannot see the big deal, just might be the local dealers in the area. i live in a small town up in central qld and we get a bit left behind at times (ie why im driving a torana :tease: )
thanks for the help guys, will ring some more tyre places on monday requesting the yokos, lucky for me i have finished my apprentiship and can afford rich man tyres

nibbsy, how much did the 195/50's set you back, if you don't mind? And what are the tyres like?

the 195s cost me $170 each, they are pretty good apparently but i cannot tell you from experience as i have not driven on them.
they are one of yokos "performance" tyres so they should be alright
