I'd like to see plastics plated in silver and I don't think all plastics can be chromed with that process (we looked at getting door trim, plastic chrome strips on my brothers galaxie redone but they can't do it), and i'd say there would be a difference in the colour/shine. There is Fantachrome (paint finish) which can be applied to just about anything which would most likely be what has been done.

Sorry not hijacking the thread, but have you guys seen this.I seen that email about a month ago, someone has got way too much money.I'm pretty sure the Audi is actually plated in silver. If you sure the place where that Arab lived you would understand. There was an email going arround with the car and his place that looked like a super exclusive hotel.

I remembered something else anyone remember the Atlanta opening ceremony? No me neither but I do remember they chromed about 20 pick-up trucks for the event.
