Sorry to to hear of the loss. They have alway been a collectors items thiefs. If you own a 2dr torana lc/lj or lx you do not leave anywhere you can not see. You leave park in the street you will lose it. Put a lc gtr up forsale and caught a bloke in my driveway at 2am the same week.

how much is a gps tracker worth?? at one stage they were putting them in all new cars then it kinda faded away. There were ones that you could ring a number and it shut offf the car (in new cars anyways.) i always remove a critical part of the car so it cant be started or driven. eg- gear stick, rotor button, lead or leads, spark plug or 2, also a fuel cut off switch hidden somehwhere, or an isolator switch for the battery. immobilizers are ok but they are easy enough to get aorund. some people are just scum of the earth. hope you get it back mate.

GPS tracking devices. We had GPS tracking in our work vehicles so the office could see which of our 400 vehicles was the closet to an urgent pickup. Cost was around $1100 per vehicle.

You have to be lucky sometimes, my EH wagon was stolen yrs ago, thought i would never see it again.

2 weeks later a mate was driving through some back streets in Coburg and saw it sitting their, called me, went and had a look, they ran it out of petrol and just left it their.

Most important every tool i owned was on the back floor, i had the back seat folded down and they hadn't looked under it, still their, i was a very happy boy.

Hope your result is the same as mine, good luck and poo poo to the arse-wipes :shoot:

Thats not bad really - I assume though that would be a fleet discount type thingy?

I know this pain so well. My car was stolen about 7 years ago and even though i got it back (thank God), trashed alittle it felt like it had been raped by someone else.

I will be praying that you find it intacted. I will post this on the cbr250 forum, there's a few people from melbourne there.

Dad had his HJ Premier stolen back in the 80's. Found it a week later minus everything of value. They even took the heads off the engine (stock heads that had been cleaned up). With an oxy torch. Then, they flipped it over and set it alight.

Let us know how you go tomorrow.

Well they buy 100 at a time, so yes. And that was nearly 4 years ago.

Well no luck! :furious: the car wasnt there. Searched all around the area and waited for hours aswell and got nothing.

This is where the car was last seen which was on sunday afternoon.
