Hi all. Just a quick one. Looking at puting my new exhaust on within the next week and will prob temporarily dump it at the diff. Just wondering how exactly to do this?
ie. Straight out of the Mufflers pointing straight down, down and to the sides etc.
What sounds meaner, what really drones etc.
It is on a lx with small block chev with big extractors and twin 2.5inch pipes
Cheers
Timbo

I've had both - straight down dumpers, and also 45 degree angled dumpers.... all much the same I reckon! And yep, mine were straight off the mufflers.

mine is straight off the mufflers pointing straight down. straight out of the mufflers with no dumps drones. I have heard of people aiming the 2 dumps at the same point on the ground, it is meant to make a difference in sound, dunno if it does though

aiming the 2 dumps at the same point is supposed to help stop kicking up alot of dust

Redbacks, 2.5 inch angled out and down. Does drone a bit below 2300 rpms.
