OK, just found this thread...
I run 15x8 all round, the photo of my car makes the rears look bigger?
The front and rear has Ford Stud pattern.

BUT, i have a special length 9 inch diff fitted so that the wheels and tyres fill the guards. They (very minor) scrape in a couple of spots. I use Yoko 225/60/15 AO32R Tyres
The fronts just touch the upper wheel tub next to the inner guard and lightly on the outer guard. The rear part of each front wheel tub needed hitting back ie about where front mudflaps would normally be fitted, as they would have rubbed on full lock. I run Wilwood 4 spot Front calipers.

The rears lightly touch the outer wheel arches.

The wheels (Qty 8) were bought from Mullins Wheels Cheviot Rd Salisbury SA back in 1996 for $1528. The wheels are 18mm neg offset. part no. 152-580N18-54C. The guy I bought the car from gave me all the tech sheets about the car, which helps in times like this.

I didn't know there was an offset choice

Wilwoods fit under his 14's
But not the 15x8 Challengers

Will investigate further

The problem might be wheel offset
Your brakes are obviously very different to the 276mm HQ discs with Wilwood calipers that Alex has and Rory will be using

Got pics of them ?

Seems weird to me they would clear 14 x 8 Hotwires and not 15 x 8 Challngers?..

When I get a chance I will snap a pic 4U. I do have custom Wilwood Rotors on a Alloy Hat. The wheel offset I have is neg 18mm, In one of my previous posts I give the part no's of my wheels.

Maybe the larger rotor moves the caliper up enough to clear the centre hub of the wheel

Not yet but being in the game for a few years noticed the inside formation of most rims have pretty much the same clearences so unless the Challenger has a HUGE inward lip/indentation on the mould...which I would find pretty weird..... I cannot understand why it would be a problem.

Datto, you have a problem..there is no clearence problems there at all..you need to look at Alexs thing post haste. And they are the old HUGE Wilwoods..mine are the newer small ones.

On the back of wheel shot.... does that big flat looking area taper off or is it a flat flange the same from the hub area out ?

How far out from the bolt up face of the disc does your caliper stick out if at all ?

It tapers off at the start of the unpainted flat flange, the 25mm ring you can see tapers towards the outer part of the rim the same as the 5 spokes. In the lower part of the photo it looks flat but the upper part looks all tapered.

The caliper is slightly less than the BUF. The little plug under the centre W in "WilWood" is about flush with the BUF. So no the caliper does not stick out.

The BUF side on shot shows the caliper is a fair distance back in for clearence .
