One for REDA9X...The Gough/Barry Sheales car runs Challengers all round...Do you know him?..Can we find out if he had any dramas on the fronts?..If so how did he get around it?

This is what I have done with mine, I know it looks like a ridiculous size spacer, but as you can see, it has been secured using the studs with a lock nut on each one, that way the studs are supported

See here is the problem if you go Sams way..maximum out for the rim..nearly/probably touching the outer guard...these are 15 x 8...now add in 15 x 10..See my problem?..They are through the guards.
R

I just realised Sams spacer is about 2 inches...so pushes his front wheels out that far..if that is the case..15 x 10 should be close to being OK.

15 x 8 105mm backspace...95mm outer lip.
15 x 10 113mm bacspace....142mm outer lip.

These the 2 inches I need.

If you look at that Gough car up there ^^^ you will see they are struggling to get the 10s under the front...I think it is going to be a drama...will be nothing but a pain in the arse with rubbing..we will see...the fronts below will need 35mm added to the outside if they are 10s...thats level with the out side of the flares...The backs will just fit..

Yep...In the second pic I stood a straight edge against the outside of the flare...thats where the outer edge of a 10 will be on the front..I reckon we are 8 fronts ...uncut wets...and 10s on the rear with soft compound slicks. In fact on the Gough car...the fronts look a bit weird..like they are too big?..or is it just me?

How much neg camber will you be running with the slicks? That will tip the top of the wheel inside the guard more... although turning may still present some clearance problems..

Now imagine Sams car with an extra 40mm/2 " on the rear bags...That will look the mumble.

Stuckey tells me 3.5 to 4 degree neg needed for the radial slicks.

haha you mean Peter!

Yeah would look way cool! I'd love to check out the difference in traction verses the little tyres we run now..

Oops!..Meant Peter..Yeah Stuckey says use uncut wets on the 8 fronts..and softs on the rear 10s....makes sense actually..its sprints/hillclimbs and you need heat and stickiness in the tyres from scratch...wouldnt do 5 laps at a sprint though...

My rear 8s have 2" clearance on the outer edge......fronts look the same ^so if you go the bigger fronts it will push the 10s out level with the outside of the flare...not a good look...See the Gough car back there..^^.

A mate of mine has a pair of these hanging in his shed, but they are a 2 or 3 piece setup. I think they are 15x9 or 15x10 in Ford pattern.
