anyone got any advice for these damn header bolts,

they seem to keep coming loose at least once a week.
and they are allways in a very difficult spot to get to!

im considering changing them for allen key headed ones just to get to them, but i reckon they will still work their way loose.

is there a loctite or someting similar specifically for higher temps?

cheers

mick

I've noticed similar things with mine from time to time - it appears to be the rear-most bolts most affected, always just a tiny bit loose. If I leave it for ages without checking, they can become quite loose. Was also thinking maybe some Loctite is in order? Perhaps the "Stud Lock" strength?? No idea if this is ok for high temps etc..... Will be interested to hear other people's comments....

Tis a problem, add it to your regular maintenance routine. Loctite couldn't hurt.

Thanks for that RACV Man. Knew there musta been a way. I got the shits with mine backing out all the time, so got the mechanic to do the last lot of gaskets. Bolts haven't moved so thought there might be bit of a trick to em.
