I think the Pub got overloaded when all 38 "HTC" people turned up for lunch. That made for a very long table.
Don't stir Kaz up too much though - unfortunately, priorities got in the way - I know she'd want to have been there. Kaz, make sure you get your butt to Berri on 24th November!!!
Oh, and Bullit - aren't you forgetting to mention something?????? Gone a little shy?
LCGTR70, it is open to all GMH badged vehicles, and around 275 cars turned up, including a huge number of veteran/vintage stuff.
Litre8 - yep - brilliant weather, but a bit too 'ideal' for those that forgot their hat - am now sporting a rudolph nose

You were all at the Pub when I snuck through with the family.
Dazza, great photos. They do show your are bias towards boys toys and Monaros (I have a soft spot for the old Monaros too).
Do you have any pictures of the 3 A9X's? and there were a few SLR5000's too.
I would say that was by far the best turn out of Toranas this year and the standards were very high. To good for my car.
Oh and did the judges repeat a conversation from a few years ago.
"Na mate this is not an original A9X, they never made them in sedan (Taxi)"
Ha ha ha.

congrats daryl
Well done to all who made the effort on the day. Luckily I had pre boked lunch for 35 and only 3 last minutes. Cant get in trouble for that. Re slow service, get used to it its spreading like wild fire.
mental note: club picnic at GM day tanunda 2008.
I could have been there, but the funds are low, hopefully that situation will change tomorrow. Instead i spent the day remodeling Rubys console, very productive

Had a chat to the owner of the orange XU-1 about the Club, and about Historic, and gave him contact details. Quite a few A9X Club cars there too, and they already either are members, or know of us.Any new member recruitment happen with some of those other entries?
