JUST REALLY CONCERN ABOUT THIS WEATHER........I GOT THE CAR DYNOED LAST NIGHT AND ITS ROCKIN READY TO GO...BUT I WILL WAIT UNTIL THE DAY TO SEE THE WEATHER......NO RAIN NO RAIN.....

Looking forward to it Michael!

i got shot down by vic roads, my car is booked in to get rego'ed on the 3rd! as it was the earlyest time they had free, which sucks coz i have been so pumped about this day! oh well looks like michael misses out again, just like last year... :( sorry heath i can give you boy's a lift any more.

my car is sitting here

finished finaly
road worthy'd.
but no rego sticker!

You could get a permit for the day or a month if you really want ^^^^^^

yeah i my daily is my trusty EF fairmont, but no tow ball......... also the motor has just been rebuilt and i dont want to push it too hard befor it's completly run it ( i.e draging it! lol) well it sucks but hey what can i do....? there will be more chances to take it out anyway...

Best way to run in a new motor is 3/4 throttle with load. Kinda like towing a tandem :spoton:

Some times i HATE MY CAR.

the Power steering shit itself bigtime, last weekend towing Ricks torana to heathcote the power steering started to play up and needed regular top ups of fluid, now even with fuid in the pump its super stiff to steer.

My mechanic mate recons the pump has shit itself but we looked at were the leak was and the rack is pissing out fluid bigtime from the drivers side neer the lines.

I have a complete VN spare with good power steering on it but im hoping to get the job done tomoro or else im not gona be able to come and Rick wont have anyone to tow his car and chopper wont have a lift.

Man am i buzy tomoro.

This may mean I'll have to make other arrangements with Dick and Steve about the respective 253 water pump and VK EFI inlet manifold. Steve could possibly detour past my place on the way up to grab the manifold and drop the water pump off from Dick on the way back if worst comes to worst. I'm getting my UC on Friday, but as the overheating problem may not have been properly fixed by the current owner, I'm not risking it.
