Hi guys adngals, i have a LH toranaand ive been told that the brakes i have are for a HT. Now i got V8 pads from autobarn and they fit in the caliper that goes on the disc but it is a heavy caliper and i was told that v8's needed alumunium ones. mine are PBR and supposedly i need girlock ones. the brake caliper i have is off a working LX torana with a V8 that was registered and i have been told i wont get it registered with the'HT' brakes i have. Can somebody please tell me what and who is right?
thanx

there are a few different types for Torana. From memory, only the later LX had the alloy caliper with the steel slide frame and "TORANA" stamped into it. The LH ones were a cast one I believe, but a picture would confirm which ones you actually have.
anything like this one in the top left pic on the page???
