I swaped cars with a mate for a few days, he took the A9X and I took his VK Group A. I've got to tell you, it's bloody nice too. Drives like a dream, goes well, looks awesome, build number 10 with 24,000 km. Original owner up till about 3 years ago, 16x 8 MOMO stars option. I'm so tempted to pull out of the Torana and buy one of these things. It's yummy. I'll get some pics tomorrow after it's finished at the photo shoot. Keep your eyes out, there will be 2 awesome cars in a futire edition of a very high profile magazine.

Um yeah the last 2 sold for $90,000 I'm told, and this one is a bloody good car with low km, not that Mick will sell it to me. I just loved driving it, hopefully tomoorow will be dry.

Really! Far out! I think this place might just be a little biased towards the old Torry anyway! Maybe its time to pick up a fun car!

Lol, this one doesn't have air. It's one of the first 12 which I believe were hand built and have a few other things different like a black boot rather than blue. The original owner couldn't aford air, I guess the option of the stars and full kit cost him too much. I think the wheels were something like a $2500 option in 84-85. Rare as RHS now.

reda9x is that a 4 or 5 speed box in that vk brocky as i recall the first 50 off the line were supposed to be 5 speed not 100% on that info any body shed some light on this.

4 speed, you are thinking of the VK Group A LE, better known as the Group A group 3. The owner of this car did get the letter from HDT asking if he wanted to upgrade it, but only took up the wheel option. Not all GPA GP3 had 5 speeds either. I believe there were 48 on top of the 500 GP A's

I thought the ones with the 5speed also had a bigger cam and were the last 50???
