Ohhh! Thats cruel!Thanks again.
KRL did the Alloy,Tanks, based in Maddington. I'll let you know my thoughts when they are plumbed in.
Floor mounted pedal box is in, however the pedals are not connected as yet.
We have angle mounted the box to a floor plate and secure that to the floor. It was made to be removable for alterations / maintenance
i'll do a photo as soon as Datto waves his magic wand over them.
It'll have to be a magic wand 'cos there is not enough room for him to get in there. Fatty Datty might get jammed in under the dash and we'll have to cut him out !.

As long as the seat isn't in
Its the driver and navigators ability to get in and out of their race seats I'm worried about
Dyno figures are in
We have enough to push it around with their bulk in it at least

The windscreen will need to come out again to fit the new pad
I believe Welby is fitting the diff (assuming he gets it back today) and fuel tank this weekend and making a start on the rewiring of the whole car
Full VDO dash I'm lead to believe
Welby can answer the rad questions he bought it before we met
Car must be presented to the track for CAMS inspection and log booking of the car/cage on August 16th
If its not ready we don't race TargaWest this year
We have alittle bit of work to do before then
Engine should be on a truck heading West today....... so next weekend looks like a big one !!!

Thanks for your kind words. It helps.
Baron, the small fuel surge tank is to assist with the violent movements the car suffers with cones and chicanes in this type of event. The Brown Davis Tank already has a swirl tankand i was advised by both BD and my engine builder to run a small surge tank in the engine bay, admittedly, we were expecting to run webers.

Thanks Les, i'd be happy to make it to Scrutineering here, let alone Tassie.
Bart
Peddle box pics on the weekend, i promise.
boomfunk
I did see what was written, which is why i had to run out in the rain in the middle of the night to fit one and take it's pic. Thanks again. Let me know your shirt size so we can get a team shirt over to you.
Rory,
The problem with being cruel to Datto is he enjoys it ! Sicko Deviant !!

Radiator was discussed with the guys at PWR, engine type, racing type etc. They then supplied to suit. Genuinly bolt in. Fits better than factory. Quality looks the goods, better than the other alloy work under the hood. Wether it lasts or even works is yet to be seen. I like it so far.
TORANASS
New dash top has arrived and we need to send it back, it has a horrid curve in it i can't seem to straighten. We've looked a couple of times at the dilemma and the 'screen has to come out. I'll wait now till i've got the wiring sorted and i'll do it in one hit. I've bought a suite of VDO gauges so i'm working on the das at present.
Engine is in it's crate and will be on a truck any tick of the clock. Dyno sheets show 435 hp @6100 rpm and and 420 ftlbs of torque.
Diff should be picked up today. We'll pull the old one out tonight, fit the new one in the morning and the tank in the arvo.
speaking of clocks,
tick
tick
tick
Oops , the Datto beat me to it.

I have left this in it's original state because, as Rory keeps reminding me, this is only a race car.
Last job of the day was to install the drop tank.
Every one loves a fatarse Torana.
