So there's nothing else in the exhaust system, no mufflers, hotdogs etc...? Just twin into single megaphone.
Are there any advantages to running a megaphone as opposed to the usual twin system that dumps the system to the ground closer to the diff? Would there ever be a need to run twin megaphones, or is merging to a single the better option?
Great stuff.... I can just imagine what it must sound like!

I'm not an exhaust guru, nor profess to know the black magic that they make.
However, Ian Tate gave me specs to suit the motor. The exhaust man, Norm Butler, asked heaps of questions about the engine build and the car use.
His suggestion was almost identical. So i figure they know what they are talking about.
They both said the two long pipes into one help with torque, where as 2 straight out are a horsepower/high rev situation.
Both said one muffler would be adequate for my horsepower output and both suggested a 3 " megaphone.
As to the sound,

As to the sound,
Legal limit here is 96db at 3,500.
Does yours comply? Right now mine is over but am not sure by what amount.

Picked up the box from Dattoman on this site.
While it works well, it doesn't suit the Torana floorpan or footwell.
If we were doing it again, we wouldn't use a pedal box.
Keen on doing CA but we've got a few things to cover first .
Thanks for your words,

I don't know how many decibels are needed to set off car alarms as we idle by , but that's what we have .
Tiny was in charge of getting video with sound at the wedding.
I guess his bride had all of his attention though.
Hi Simmo.
Will get sound soon.
