I guess you are looking at the cage which goes through the firewall and is welded to the chassis rail.

Hi there A9X,
Whats the chances of getting a clearer pic of that front wheel? It appears to be a hotwire but I am more interested in the centre cap. What is it exactly? I have seen some before that look similar and would like to get hold of some.
Like this.
I dont mean to steal your thread so I will start a wanted thread as well. Thanks.

I know there is a minerals boom in WA at the moment,
but is there so much of it (gold) you can afford to put it in
your paint!!!!! LOL

Looks fantastic, will be almost too good to race when finished.

Thats really really really nice! Thats the sought of colour i am doing on my hatch at the end of the year... I love how bright my orange is now (mine is straight orange tinter) But i want some sparkle in it. i am thinking about using the ford focus, electric orange (on the XR5's)

But mate thats going to look awesome! wish you were in Victoria! haha

Thanks everyone.

By the end of the week it should look the goods with the black outs and the flares put on.

No it was not an SS, just a bog stock 6 cyl auto SL.

We are entering it as a 1977 SS A9X to take advantage of the disc brake rear end and the bigger wheels. The car will carry SS on the grill and tail to celebrate the best of the Torana's.

Welby
