will you acheive greater suspension travel without them?
or is that not an issue due to spring rates etc

At this stage we will not be running that style of upper bump stop.
We are still working through a variety of issues with the Harrop setup though.
Rana Girl, i think it helped, last photos looked a bit better in size.
Found a darama on the weekend. I took the dash crash pad back off because i put my thumb through it on the driver side.
We installed the windscreen last week and now i can't get the dash pad or the dash lower section in around the roll cage.
When i dummy fitted them when putting the cage together, we dropped them in through the windscreen.

So i only got a lttle look and i frustrate easy, so i'll have a look at it later in the week when things are a bit more quiet.
It does look like the screen will have to come out, or cut the dash up. Neither are acceptable so i'm looking at maybe a bit of patience.
Gearbox should be here today.
Engine is almost finished., that reminds me , time to ring the diff guy.

It may be worth considering getting the crash pad reskinned for $330.

Next door to Datto too.
Its such a small thumbhole too for $300 .!
I may just grab one second hand somewhere. I keep reminding myself it is a racecar, not a concourse resto or showcar.
But thanks for the thought.

I know someone who put his engine in only to relise later they forgot the oil pickup when they fitted the sump lol, now thats a bummer. The best part was they actualy never forgot it at all, they had just found a spare and thought the worst and after pulling the motor back out and sump off it had the pickup there lol.

Although it's "Just a race car", she'll be a lot more than that in the end
Can't wait to see this thing in the flesh when ya's bring her to tassie, maybe have to organise a few beers with some of us tassie fellas.
Good luck with the rest of the build, will be keeping an eye on it, so don't be too stingy with the pictures....
Cheers

Tremec TKO600
Hydraulic quartermaster release bearing
I have the same combo.... careful, I had to machine down the front gearbox input shaft carrier so the QM release bearing could slide down it. I also had to enlarge the Spigot bush to accept the shaft. I have the specs somewhere.

The bearing is currently sitting on the shaft
There is no spigot bush with the box
Maybe it went with the clutch to Ian Tate to be whacked in the crank

I'll add it to the list of things to check.
