It's possible. i got a cage and harness's with modified seat for the tubs. You gotta do some cutting and bending of the wires to fit around the tubs. fiddly but possible.

cool! was even thinking of having the tubs exposed and trimmed. uncomfortable but looks cool. my cage has a taxi bar so bit of a teeth breaker if i hit the brakes too hard

Bit of a bitch to get in the back seat i imagine,
i've never had anybody in the back of mine, it's too low for that anyways.

thought of having a single race seat in the back smack bang in the middle between the two harnesses???
think that would be cool.
get some foam for around the cage bar and get another 3/4 point harness for the back guy.

Why is that datto? is it because they stretch?

where am i going to put them, i dont have a taxi bar and ya cant bolt them to the floor unless you want your spine crushed.
between the seats? maybe i should just get a taxi bar.

all done. made a big diference. can fit a 295 tire under there

anyone else with LC-LJ noticed their chassis rails? are anyone elses not spaced evenly? both my tubs are identical and the drivers side is an inch from the rail at the very back, but the passenger side is fluch with the rail. i measured and measured and measured. seems like the passenger side rail is an inch to the left, or maybe the drivers side is an inch to the left.

Its defiently the passenger side which isnt straight i cut the floor out of mine and u can see clear...
My passenger rail veeres outwards towards the back of the car and my drivers side is dead straight. When i was doing my shock crossmember i couldnt work out why it wouldnt butt up square on the passenger side....measured over and over.

you can blame the spare wheel arch and the petrel tank for everything being out of wack.

cheers the gong

They stretch yes
And also if your not running a race seat with proper cutouts they can slip off your shoulders

Taxi bar is the safest way and the only way I would have a harness in my car

Fluck the passengers
Its a priveledge to ride in it.... quit ya complaining about how hard it is to get in and out
Not like I'd take 60 yr old mum to the shops in the racecar anyway

just thought i'd mention the discs as they bring your track in a little and give you more clearance for your rims/tyres.
