I would listen to Howard about the girdle, I would run 1 on any 202 with 250hp or more, its cheap insurance IMHOnot going that far with the bottom end, I dont what to boost it up that high and not doing that much work to the crank will hopefully stop me me from wanting toAre you investing in one of 82911's crank girdles? If you intend to push the envelope then it would be worth the effort. What boost do you intend on running? With a crank girdle (and other upgraded hardware) I have seen 202's handle 30psi in circuit racing conditions.

They reckon the biggest limitation with the J-zed head is the strength of the block, they can crack bif power from them, but they usually split bores or blow holes in the side.
Just dont rev it too hard and it would be sweet i would think.
looks the goods mate. good work

I am using H beam con rods that joe uses in he's rail and most the trouble he was getting was from oil pressure going too low and that was damaging the crank
And one other thing he told me was not to over bore the block if I want it to last

Using a stock cam wouldnt be much good , should get to much wheel spin and top out to early
Yella Terra have a turbo cam you should check them out, I am getting mine made to suit through a friend

I still havent found a good enough resign to use one, as Greg wont respond to any questions asked and it looks like it doesnt do anything except stop the caps from walking and I have never heard it that happening anywayAre you investing in one of 82911's crank girdles? If you intend to push the envelope then it would be worth the effort.
If anyone could get Gregs attention so he could explain what it would do for my block maybe I would consider using one

You dont need a girdle if your not going to turn the engine hard.
