The down draught webers used were 48IDF style,
while the side draught (usually on the L34) were 48 DCOE.
Hope this helps.

a quick search on webers & webbers for the poor spelling, will have you holding a number of engine bay pics

I have found the following pictures the one of the manifold
has to different heights for the webers to mount to and the
engine bay pic shows them at the same height would this
manifold work or would i have to use the one like in the
engine bay and if any body knows can you buy these manifolds.
Cheers

Those manifold adaptors are now deleted from Redline
I'm after one for my own car
All the ones I have seen are level.. maybe the pic is dodgy

^ that pic does look decieving but could it have been made off set like that for the duel plenum manifold to keep all runners equal length from butterfly to valve head?

Instead of running the 48 size webers can you use like 45DCOE webers 40 dellortos they will be running on a 308 stroker

You need to be a bit cautious on jetting on the 45mms on this setup..better to run a bit rich unless it is on the throttle most of the time. 48mm I am told were a different kettle of fish...but they are rare as hens..
