Toranafest Update....
G'day All
with just under two weeks to go, I thought that I would give everybody an update as to how things are progressing.
Entrants
As of today we have a staggering 94 Pre-entrants!! That is more cars that we had all up last year!!
Of the 94 Pre entrants, the break up is like this;
HB - 4,
LC - 8,
LJ - 24,
TA - 1,
LH - 23,
LX - 30,
UC - 4, and
Viva - 1
The total value of all these cars together is close to $3 million so far!! As you can see, we already have every model Torana so it will surely be a sight to see. I reckon that we will end up with close to 120 cars on the day..
If you have not already entered, Why not?? If you are still thinking of pre-entering, please try and get your entry into the mail NLT Friday 7th Sep 2007. That will ensure that we recieve your entry by the Wed/ Thurs before.
If you are going to enter on the day, that's fine, you will still recieve a T shirt, but be aware that you may not recieve a goody bag.
CLUB DISPLAYS
To all the clubs, a reminder that I will need someone (preferably the Runs Co-ordinator) to contact me, NLT Fri 14th Sep 2007, to let me know how many spots they want reserved for their club cars. If I don't hear from a club, they may not be grouped together. The number to call is 0243207755.
Another point for the clubs, to have a chance of winning the best club display, you need to be seen to be promoting your club.

The Auction
Because of the generosity of our sponsors, we have a massive amount of items for auction. The auction will be run over a couple of times during the day, and there will be flyers detailing the items that will be auctioned. Some of the items include;

Harry Firth
Harry will be there on the day to answer some questions and to sign some autographs, etc. There will be two autograph sessions, hopefully to allow everyone a chance for him to sign something for everybody. To allow this to happen, there will be a limit of three items per person for signature. By all means, if you have other stuff that's fine. You will just have to go to the back of the line..
