hi all ,hope you like the pics,thanks bullit :spoton: ,when the car is totally finished with mawers ect, it will represent how it ran at lakeside/oran pk in 73,i had to pick a time and place in history and i think that will do nicely.many thanks to Darren Zacher for the paint and Peter Jones from SIGNSTYLE for the top work,and spoton rory and ive still got it!!.cheers all daz :D

There is a thread 'what is a 72 bathurst xu1' if i understand everthing ive read in this thread and that one this car started its life as the original 24c b4 getting a new body shell by hdt after being crashed,id say to those people who are still not sure what a 72 BATHURST car is, look here^^^^and look no further,WOW still drooling.ben :spoton:

Awesome! That whole thread reads well. It is the welds and period mods in the underbody that hold the key to these cars. Tatey is pretty sharp on the era, as is Frank. Both are 100% aware of the odd bodgy car popping up too. If they have given her the green light, you are a very fortunate man.
